Grand daughter story ahead. Gardening on the little buddy system. Our little buddy is so intense in her desire to ‘learn’ ‘how to’ garden. She picks weeds, flowers, plants alike and brings them to us as a gift. When she saw us with hand trowels a new world of opportunity opened for her. As she digs, she now brings the bug and worm world to our attention. Each ‘delicious morsel’ is given with those same dark brown eyes of love and devotion. Tough thing this is for ol’ papa as her thoughts, looks, and giving takes me back to a similar garden with my two daughters doing the same. Whew, once again this ol’ goat needs that garden bench for a moment to remember. Now… To channel that intensity to weeding and harvesting. What are our chances at this precious age? Does it matter?
