Ephesians 5:11-14 (KJV) And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
My good Christian friend, Joe, lives these verses so well. After losing everything dear in life to darkness, he KNOWS the difference now in a Christ-filled life devoted to bringing that next person to Jesus.
Not a week goes by that he also helps expose some form of darkness creeping into our midst. So thankful for his encouragement and faithfulness.
One way he keeps a sharp edge on his discernment is his devotion to reading and applying scripture in his life on a daily basis, and as a prayer warrior on behalf of you and I.
Thought: Find a good Christian example like Paul or Peter in the Bible and be like them.
Oh God, let me follow after you in Jesus name.
